Job summary

Women’s Care PC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care during office visits and support patients and families before, during, and after clinician encounters.

The RN will administer medications, document in EMR, prepare exam rooms, assist with treatments, and coordinate referrals in a fast-paced clinic environment. Florida RN license, BLS/CPR, and 1 year clinic experience are required, OB/GYN preferred; eCW experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in a clinic environment, OBGYN strongly preferred.
• Valid Florida RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records system, preferably eCW.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients effectively.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care following established standards.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Records patient history, vital signs and results in EMR.
• Greet patients and prepare them for examination; assist physician as needed.
• Assist with referrals and medication refills; maintain recall lists.
