FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our busy OB/GYN clinic. You will facilitate patient care, triage calls, and coordinate testing and referrals with Epic and the care team.

The role requires two years of OB/GYN nursing experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and a BSN with NC RN license (or compact state license). Strong organization and confidentiality are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of nursing experience in OB/GYN preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• BSN degree and valid NC RN license or Compact State RN license.

Responsabilités

• Obtain basic vitals (weight, BP, EKG) from patients.
• Triage patient phone calls and monitor lab results; report to physician.
• Review test results with patients as instructed by provider; discuss care plans.
• Manage prescription refills with patient, pharmacy, and provider.
• Oversee patient charts: ensure records/referrals/tests are in chart; preload information into Epic.
• Ensure patients are scheduled according to guidelines and assist with prior authorizations.

Overview

RN will facilitate and provide care to patients in our busy and fast paced OB/GYN clinic.

Responsibilities

Obtains basic vital signs on patients (weight, BP, EKG, etc.). Triage patient phone calls. Monitor lab results/report these to physician. Review test results with patient as instructed by provider Manage prescription refills with patient/pharmacy/provider. Oversee patients' charts for appointment (make sure all records are in chart/referrals in chart/any test results in chart)/ Pre-load information into Epic. Make sure patients are appropriately scheduled according to guidelines. Assist with prior authorizations.

Qualifications

Computer skills including Epic, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams are preferred. Strong organizational and people skills required. Successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Maintain strict confidentiality of medical, financial, and staff related information. Able to perform multiple tasks at once in an organized manner.

Minimum two years of nursing experience in OB/GYN preferred. Experience in physician practice setting preferred. ACLS and BLS certification required. BSN Degree and valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required.
