Job summary
Women’s Care is seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN) in Fleming Island, FL to provide professional nursing care during office visits and assist physicians through examinations and testing. The RN will perform triage, administer medications, and maintain EMR documentation in a busy clinical setting.
The ideal candidate has an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing, a Florida RN license, and BLS/CPR certification, with at least one year of clinic experience, preferably in OB/GYN, and familiarity with
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of one year nursing experience in a clinic environment, OB/GYN strongly preferred.
- Valid Florida RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records system, preferably eCW.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care following established standards and practices.
- Assists physician during treatment, examinations, and testing of patients.
- Records patients' medical history, vital statistics and test results in EMR.
- Collects blood, tissue or other specimens and prepares them for testing.
- Administers injections and prescribed medications as directed by the physician.
