Job summary

MercyOne Clinton OB/GYN is hiring a Clinic RN for a full-time day shift (36 hours/week: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p). The role focuses on direct patient care in obstetric and gynecologic services, medication administration, patient education, and EMR documentation.

Strong teamwork and adherence to Trinity Health mission are essential. Requirements include Iowa RN licensure, BLS within 3 months, and completion of mandatory reporter training.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows, email, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using nursing processes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and consider patient needs.
• Collaborate with providers, staff, and families.
• Document care, education, and charges in EMR.
• Participate in meetings, QA, and process improvements.
• Maintain supplies and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure patient safety.
