Job summary

Metropolitan Family Health Network, Inc. in New Jersey seeks an OB/GYN Attending to provide comprehensive care for MFHN patients.

You will see 18–20 patients daily and close charts, while collaborating with nursing leadership to keep staffing and operations running smoothly. The role requires a medical degree with NJ licensure, CDS and DEA credentials; ECFMG certification for foreign-trained applicants is required, and ACOG certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in ambulatory health care or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to MFHN patients.
• Manage a daily patient load of 18–20 and close charts promptly.
• Attend monthly provider meetings and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with the Charge Nurse to ensure seamless staffing and operations.
• Perform women’s health procedures (colposcopy, IUD insertions, etc.).

Job description

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the OB/GYN Attending will supply comprehensive, quality services in the provision of medical care to all patients. Must have the ability to provide assistance and direction on clinical issues and medical management in conjunction with Federal and State reporting. Expected to see an average of 18-20 patients per day and close charts - no more than 10 charts should remain open; attend monthly provider meetings as well as outreach activities as needed; work collaboratively with the Charge Nurse to ensure that staffing and operations to service MFHN patients are seamless and without disruption; perform all women’s health medical protocols, including Colposcopy, IUD insertions, etc.

If provider is eligible and able to deliver, then a separate credentialing track will be required. Deliveries will be eligible for supplemental pay, but must be done on the providers’ time, outside the regular work hours of MFHN.

Requirements

Must have 3-4 years experience in an ambulatory health care or hospital setting. Must be in possession of current New Jersey Licensure, CDS and DEA credentials at the time of application.

Experience with Eclinical Works is welcomed, but if not trained, successful applicant will receive training on this platform. Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus, but not required.

Must have Medical Degree from an accredited institution. ECFMG certification required for those who received degree outside the United States and who are welcome to apply. ACOG certification is a plus.
