Job summary

Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to serve as Associate Program Director for a new community-based OB/GYN Residency Program launching Summer 2027. This role combines educational leadership with clinical OB/GYN practice in a hospital-employed setting, with no night call and strong work-life balance.

The APD works with the Program Director to support educational, operational, and cultural development while maintaining an active clinical

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN.
• Florida medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director in residency administration, curriculum, and program improvement.
• Participate in scholarly activity and quality improvement with institutional research support.
• Contribute to program operations, compliance, and recruitment.
• Teach and mentor OB/GYN residents and medical students in inpatient, outpatient, Labor & Delivery, and operative settings.
• Provide supervised clinical education and feedback during routine patient care.
• Support a positive, hands-on learning environment grounded in community-based practice.
