Job summary

CHI Health Clinic is seeking an Clinic LPN at the Lakeside OB Clinic to deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care and help patients’ well-being and recovery.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, performing assessments, following guidelines, and educating patients and families about health maintenance and condition management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in good standing with the state licensing board.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Completion of an IV Therapy Course.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
• Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and assess disease conditions.
• Provide patient care based on practice guidelines and regulations.
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Education

LPN license must be current

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Expectations

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
• Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assess disease conditions.
• Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Pay Range
