Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System invites an anesthesiologist to join the First Physicians Group as a full-time member of the Anesthesiology team. The position focuses on OB fellowship-trained specialists with a diverse case mix across cardiac, general, neuro, and trauma, supporting a high-volume hospital system.

The role includes covering approximately 210 shifts per year with premium pay for extra shifts, oversight of CRNAs, and a comprehensive benefits package in a no-state-tax Florida

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Eligible for Florida medical license and ACLS certification.
• Board eligibility or board certification (BE/BC).
• Fellowship trained in anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Cover 210 shifts annually, with additional pay for extra shifts.
• Diverse case mix including Cardiac, Endo, General Surgery, Neuro, OB, Oncology, Ortho, Robotics, Spine, Vascular, and Level II Trauma.
• Oversee CRNAs with physician supervision per staffing model.
