Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist for Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, FL.

This full-time, non-call position at the largest hospital in the Lee Health system supports a Level II Trauma Center with extensive surgical services and a high-volume anesthesia practice. You will perform pre-anesthesia evals, discuss plans with patients, manage induction to emergence, and ensure patient safety with a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
