Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a kitchen team member in Twentynine Palms, CA to prepare, season and cook sauces, meats, vegetables, and other items using standard recipes. You will serve food, maintain a sanitary workstation, and assist with menu creativity while upholding our Five Star Experience and service promise.
Requirements include a high school diploma (preferred) and at least two years in institutional food prep with broiler, sauté, and frying skills.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for preparing, seasoning and cooking sauces, meats, vegetables and other foodstuffs in a restaurant using standardized recipes. Serve prepared food using appropriate plates, cups, pans, bowls and trays to maintain customer appeal. Clean and sanitize workstation making sure everything is properly covered, labeled, dated and rotated, to ensure service of quality and healthy food. Assist Chef in training of Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Pantry personnel, and new menu creativity. In addition, we strive to deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and fellow Team Members. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.
