In this paid applied learning opportunity, you'll gain hands‑onexperience in program planning, family engagement, studentoutreach, data analysis, and project management. You'll assist withevents such as National Student Parent Month, help connect studentswith campus and community resources, gather feedback from studentparents, and support training initiatives that strengthenfamily-friendly practices across campus. A student assistant will carry out administrative and technicaltasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the studentassistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other studentsor provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6credit hours at Wichita State University.
Applicant must be a student in the College of Education.

Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate acomputer and other office equipment including but not limited tophone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicatewith others and accurately exchange information.
