General Function

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in ensuring customers have a rewarding experience that enhances their sport performance. Responsibilities include demonstrating excellent customer service, meeting sales and service goals, providing product knowledge, and working collaboratively to meet store objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Consistently achieve sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
  2. Provide an exceptional customer experience through personalized attention, detail, and solutions that promote satisfaction.
  3. Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong, professional relationships with colleagues, management, opticians, and support staff.
  4. Maintain the store's appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized, and securing company assets.
  5. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Basic Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
  3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
  4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
  5. Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
  6. Strong oral and written communication skills
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
