Job summary

Catholic Charities East Bay is seeking an experienced Donor Relations Manager in Oakland to strengthen fundraising and donor engagement. You will cultivate relationships with individual and major donors, coordinate annual and major gift initiatives, and develop stewardship plans to demonstrate impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising or donor relations experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in the Oakland office at least 4 days a week.
• Experience managing donor relationships and campaigns.
• Ability to analyze fundraising data to inform engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with individual and major donors.
• Maintain an active donor portfolio focused on acquisition, retention, and upgrades.
• Identify, solicit, and steward donors through moves management strategies.
• Develop personalized stewardship for major donors and key supporters.
• Coordinate donor acknowledgments, recognition, and followup communications.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to tell donor impact stories.
• Maintain donor records in CRM and track gift pipelines.
• Support annual impact reporting and donor-facing communications.
