Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc. seeks an Early Learning Shared Services Specialist II to collaborate with local CCR&R agencies and CCMS platforms (ELV, Brightwheel, Procare) and to promote the Shared Services Model.

You will be the primary contact for Family Child Providers and centers, addressing needs and coordinating resources. Responsibilities include leading monthly learning communities, tracking attendance, coordinating vendor integrations, and producing quarterly reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in ECE settings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local CCR&R and CCMS platforms to promote Shared Services.
• Recruit and engage Family Child Providers and centers to join the program.
• Present trainings and distribute promotional materials.
• Host monthly learning communities and coordinate vendor integrations.
• Prepare quarterly stakeholder reports and provide program support.

Job description

The Early Learning Shared Services Specialist II will collaborate with local Child Care Resource & Referral agency, Recruiters, and Child Care Management Systems (CCMS) (ELV, Brightwheel, Procare) to promote and implement the Shared Services Model. This position serves as the primary contact for Family Child Providers (FCC) and centers, working closely with them to address their needs and concerns. Key responsibilities include conducting monthly learning communities, tracking attendance, and managing the use of services provided by CCMS.

What You'll Do

• Recruit and engage Family Child Providers and centers to join the Shared Services program.
• Partner with agencies to provide support and resources to Family Child Providers and centers.
• Present at training meetings and events to promote the Shared Services Model.
• Create and distribute promotional materials to raise awareness about the Shared Services Model.
• Manage the group website and coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Provide training and support to Family Child Providers and centers on the use of various platforms.
• Host monthly learning communities to promote networking and collaboration among participants.
• Compile and submit quarterly reports to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Working Conditions: Combination of office environment and outdoor/travel required

Work Hours: Typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday; duties may require evening and weekend hours.

Equipment Use: Computer and standard office equipment.

Requirements

Mental, Physical, and Communication Demands:Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires excellent computer and typing ability and the ability to pay close attention to detail. Requires working under minimal supervision.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential client information and situations.
• Understanding of the Child Care landscape in Hawaii.
• Knowledge of DHS Licensing Rules & Regulations
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
• Access to high speed internet

Education and Work Experience:

• Degree in ECE or related field OR 5 years of experience working in ECE
• Experience with program management.
• Advanced computer software experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of database applications.
