Job summary

The Texas Office of the Attorney General is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant Attorney General (AAG) roles across the I–IV levels. You must be a licensed attorney and ready to advance through increasing levels of responsibility.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Family Law, jury trials, high-volume practice, and proficiency in Spanish. State application via CAPPS Recruit is required; military crosswalk is available. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience working in the following fields: full-time legal experience as a licensed attorney (AAG I).
• One additional year of full-time experience as a licensed attorney (AAG II).
• One additional year of full-time experience as a licensed attorney (AAG III).
• Two years' experience in handling Family Law cases, Jury Trial Experience, and high-volume legal practice are preferred.
