Job summary

A technology firm in Michigan is looking for a candidate for a project developing Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) infrastructure and associated UE-side applications for a private 5G deployment. The ideal candidate will hold an MS or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline and have experience in O-RAN deployment and 5G Private Networks. You will work on innovations to enhance application performance through cross-layer optimizations.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Open Radio Access Network deployment.
• Experience with 5G Private Networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) networking infrastructure.
• Co-develop UE-side applications with O-RAN-side radio resource control algorithms.
