Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician for Perioperative care. The role supports surgeons during a range of procedures, scrub Tech duties, and on-site nursing supervision during night shifts in New York, NY.

Qualified applicants hold a NBSTSA certification, a surgical tech program, and at least one year of OR experience in an acute care setting, with preferred experience in orthopedics, ENT, general gynecology and ophthalmology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• Minimum one year OR/Surgical Tech experience in acute care.
• Experience in Orthopaedics, ENT, General GYN and Ophthalmology preferred.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completition of a nationally accredited education program for Surgical Technicians

• One year experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting
• Orthopaedics, ENT, General GYN and Ophthalmology experience
