Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician to join the Perioperative team on a full-time night shift. Under the Nurse Manager, you will scrub, assist and anticipate physicians' needs across diverse surgical procedures, contributing to innovative patient care and advancing surgical outcomes.

Required credentials include a high school diploma, an accredited Surgical Technician program, NBSTSA certification and at least one year of OR experience in acute care, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a nationally accredited Surgical Technician program.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year OR/Surgical Tech experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in Orthopaedics, ENT, General GYN and Ophthalmology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, assist and anticipate physicians' needs during a wide variety of surgical procedures under supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Required Criteria

Salary Range: $39.67-$49.57/Hourly
