Job summary

Cordia is seeking an O&M Technician II to operate and maintain plant equipment in a safe, reliable and efficient manner. You will monitor boilers, chillers, steam turbine and other systems, log readings, and respond to alarms under the guidance of the Lead Operator and Plant Manager.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and at least two years of water-tube boiler experience; NIULPE license or similar is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Minimum of two years of experience operating water tube steam boilers (100 psig or greater)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the operation of plant machinery and equipment
• Take readings and maintain logbooks for production reports
• Respond to alarms, safety or environmental events
• Operate boilers, chillers, pumps, valves, and related equipment safely
• Monitor plant operating parameters and water chemistry as required
