Job summary

Georgia Transmission Corporation is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to strengthen our O&M scheduling and coordination capabilities. You will engineer, coordinate, and/or combine scopes of work for complex transmission maintenance activities, and mentor junior engineers.

You will review conditions and work orders in Maximo, liaise with Engineering, Planning, GSOC, Southern Company, and ITS members to schedule future activities, and uphold safety and reliability standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Experience: E-IV 6 years (4 with PE) or E-V 8 years (6 with PE).
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, coordinate, and/or combine scopes of work for O&M activities.
• Review open conditions and work orders in Maximo to identify coordination opportunities.
• Communicate with GTC Engineering and Planning, GSOC, Southern Company, and ITS members to schedule activities.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to lower-level engineers.
