Job summary

CAMS in Florida seeks an Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead the Santa Rosa area generating facility's O&M efforts, ensuring safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant operation under a long-term PPA through 2049.

The role reports to Plant Manager and focuses on maximizing equipment availability, developing high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement across operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or equivalent.
10+ years of power generation/industrial operations experience.
5+ years of leadership in power generation or plant environments.
Strong knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance, and reliability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office Suite and CMMS/OMS systems.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities and schedules.

Responsibilities

Direct daily plant operations to achieve production, reliability, and performance objectives.
Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and availability.
Plan and manage maintenance outages to maximize plant availability and reliability.
Develop and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Lead, mentor, and develop operations and maintenance personnel.
