Job summary

Trademasters is seeking a seasoned O&M Facilities Project Manager for a large government facility in Washington, DC. The role oversees engineering, custodial, pest control, elevators, and related operations, with a half‑million square feet interior and six acres exterior.

The position emphasizes project management, safety, quality control, and subcontractor coordination; expects on‑site leadership from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with after‑hours emergencies as needed. Benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of O&M/CFM facility management experience in a senior role.
• Experience updating CMMS systems for assets, PM schedules, work orders and QC.
• Experience enforcing Quality Control Programs (QCP).
• High level mechanical aptitude in HVAC, Building Engineering, Electrical and Plumbing.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Familiar with local, state, federal, and international codes; NFPA/EPA/OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day onsite facilities management for a large government facility.
• Supervise managers, supervisors, technicians, custodians, and subcontractors.
• Be on call 24/7/365 for facility emergencies and respond within one hour.
• Ensure adherence to management plans and safety/quality requirements.
• Direct scheduling and completion of preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain program documentation for codes, contracts, training and licenses.
• Provide subcontractor and vendor management, including performance reviews.
• Onsite supervision of Facility & Custodial Services teams and subcontractors.
• Proposals management for base contractor and additional services.
