Job summary

O&G Industries, Inc. in Torrington, CT, is seeking a Parts Person to manage inventory and process orders for construction equipment, trucks, and plant parts at our Torrington Repair Facility.

You will audit inventory, review levels, issue parts to technicians, and help keep the shop area clean and organized while contributing to a positive morale. Previous experience with heavy equipment and online purchasing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in parts or inventory control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control and processing in a maintenance and repair shop.
• Experience with heavy equipment and trucks preferred.
• Experience using an online purchasing and inventory tracking system.

Responsibilities
