Job summary

Realm is a systems integration company based in Norwalk, Connecticut, seeking an installation technician to join our on-site and on-the-road team. You will install and maintain AV equipment, shades, and low voltage cabling, working with brands like Savant, Lutron, Crestron, Sonos and Control4.

We value strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a professional attitude. Day-to-day work includes on-site installs, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing learning to stay ahead in the evolving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of products from manufacturers like Savant, Lutron, Crestron, Sonos, Control4 and Universal Remote.
• A track record of successful integration and installation support.
• Outstanding diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills in the A/V field.
• A professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

• Installing a range of hardware equipment, including TVs, speakers, video extenders, and amplifiers.
• Skilled installation and maintenance of shades.
• Installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling (CAT5/6, fiber, coax) and systems like security, access control, and A/V
• Utilizing your excellent diagnostic skills to solve technical issues.
• Continually learning and mastering new skills in the evolving A/V landscape.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Location: Manhatten / Long Island / On the Road

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

Paid Time O ff : 13 PTO days (plus +1 day per year of employment)

Paid Holidays: 8 paid holidays
