Job summary

Realm is seeking an AV Integration Rack Builder in Norwalk, CT. You will assemble equipment racks, mount DSPs, amplifiers, switchers, and network devices, and ensure proper cabling and labeling to industry standards.

The role involves on-site work, occasional road travel, and preparing racks for shipment. Ideal candidates understand AV signal flow, can read schematics, and bring a detail-oriented, proactive attitude with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble AV equipment racks per approved shop drawings, schematics, and rack elevations.
• Mount AV components including DSPs, amplifiers, switchers, control processors, power distribution units, and network devices.
• Fabricate and terminate audio, video, control, and network cabling to industry standards.
• Perform proper cable management, labeling, lacing, and strain relief to ensure serviceability and airflow.
• Power up racks safely and verify proper voltage, grounding, and sequencing.
• Record, update and maintain IP address, serial and MAC address spreadsheets.
• Prepare racks for shipment, including securing equipment and protecting cabling.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Location: Norwalk, CT / On the Road

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Paid Time O ff : 13 PTO days (plus +1 day per year of employment)

Paid Holidays: 8 paid holidays
