Job summary

Cogent CRE Recruitment is seeking a Project / Development Manager to oversee 1–3 ground-up affordable and/or market-rate projects in NYC, typically 10–15 stories and 300–500 units per project.

The ideal candidate has about 10 years' experience with an owner/developer on 2+ ground-up multi-family projects in NYC (including at least one affordable), guiding the full lifecycle from design and precon through permitting, construction and closeout, and working closely with consultants, contractors and

Qualifications

10 years' experience in owner/developer roles on 2+ ground-up multi-family projects in NYC
Experience with design, pre-con, permitting through construction and closeout
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or real estate
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and agencies

Responsibilities

Oversee 1–3 concurrent ground-up affordable and/or market-rate projects in NYC (10–15 stories, 300–500 units per project)
Manage the full project lifecycle from design and pre-con through permitting, construction and closeout
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, city agencies and internal/external stakeholders
