BrandSafway is seeking a Construction Hoist Technician in Carlstadt, NJ, to install, operate, and maintain personnel and material hoists on active job sites. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience and strong safety awareness.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $30.00-$38.00 along with a comprehensive benefits package including insurance and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with construction hoists in commercial or high-rise environments.
• Experience supporting scaffold systems or related access equipment strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and dismantling of construction hoists.
• Safely operate hoisting equipment in compliance with regulations.
• Perform daily inspections and report defects or issues.

Skills

Hands-on experience with construction hoists

Knowledge of jobsite safety practices

Ability to read basic plans and layouts

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
