Job summary

Christie Lites is seeking an Hoist and Automation Repair Technician to test, repair, and maintain chain hoists and automation systems in our Kearny, NJ facility. The role includes repairing rigging equipment, recording activities, and ensuring safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have experience with lifting equipment, electronics, and service software; training will be provided. We welcome applicants from New York and New Jersey seeking a hands-on position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electric and manual chain hoists.
• Familiarity with lifting and rigging industry equipment and safety practices.
• Comfort using MS Office and service software to document work.

Responsibilities

• Repair electric and manual chain hoists and automation products.
• Maintain rigging equipment, truss, and flight cases.
• Record repairs in Nexus Service software and upload certifications to Nexus or SharePoint.
• Inspect and certify lifting equipment as per standards.
• Order parts and manage inventory; keep work area organized and safe.
