Job summary

The role collaborates with the Director of Safety & Security, supports emergency drills, and coordinates with NYC agencies. Must have urban campus experience and a commitment to safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in security or public safety; 1 year supervisory experience.
• New York State Armed Security Guard License preferred; sponsorship possible.
• Experience in urban residential or campus settings a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Safety & Security personnel across shifts.
• Lead incident response and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with local agencies (NYPD, FDNY) as needed.
• Maintain staffing, post orders, and reporting accuracy.
• Support event safety for campus events and special programs.
