Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) seeks an Associate Attorney in New York City to join our corporate, securities, and business practice. Admitted to NY Bar and willing to travel across the tri-state area. No minimum years of experience required; newly admitted attorneys welcome.

You will work with experienced attorneys, develop legal writing and advocacy skills, and draft memoranda, pleadings, and agreements while supporting case strategy.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active New York State Bar admission required.
• CT bar is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with corporate, securities, and business matters.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes and case law.
• Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Support case strategy, preparation, and management.
• Attend court appearances and hearings across the tri-state area.
• Manage discovery and document review as applicable.
• Communicate professionally with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on matters.
• Meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Take on additional attorney responsibilities as needed.
