Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals represents a private client that designs and manufactures jet engines. They seek an experienced NX Specialist to support, optimize, and improve Siemens NX environments, including PMI, MBD, and Check-Mate, plus Teamcenter integration.

The role combines daily end-user support with strategic customization, standards development, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and IT. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 5+ years of NX customization and administration.
• Strong hands-on NX experience with advanced modeling and assemblies.
• Experience with PMI, MBD, and NX validation tools such as Check-Mate.
• Collaborates with SMEs and engineering teams to define standards.
• Proficient in NX Open customizations using VB.Net.
• Familiar with multi-system engineering integrations (ANSYS, Simcenter, 3DCS, Altium, DFMPro).
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service mindset.
• Experience with software upgrade management and system validation.
• Understanding CAD/PLM workflows and data management.
• Able to work cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and leadership.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily end-user support for NX, resolving tickets.
• Troubleshoot NX loading/saving issues.
• Support PMI and MBD migrations.
• Configure and maintain NX Check-Mate for standards.
• Develop and enforce NX standards and best practices.
• Develop NX Open customizations (.Net).
• Test and deploy NX software upgrades.
• Support Teamcenter-NX integration and workflow customization.
• Manage third-party integrations (ANSYS, Altium, 3DCS, DFMPro).
• Maintain Teamcenter integrations like Plant Simulation/Tecnomatix and Simcenter.
• Administer and optimize NX license usage.
• Lead evaluations of new NX capabilities and industry trends.
• Collaborate with SMEs on future standards.
• Build and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap.
• Align organization with CAD/CAE best practices.
• Assist in maintaining Teamcenter.
