Job summary

The Designer will work onsite in Batavia, IL, preparing mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter, applying ASME Y14.5-M-1994 (or higher) GD&T standards. Work includes collaborating with engineering staff to research and analyze design solutions, coordinate development, and specify components and materials.

Onsite 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with hours between 7am and 5pm Central Time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of NX experience with Teamcenter.
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience as Designer.
• Ability to create 3D CAD models using advanced features.
• Ability to create 2D drawings using GD&T with proper applications.
• Deliver a quality work product to deadline-driven projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter.
• Apply ASME Y14.5-M-1994 (or higher) GD&T standards.
• Coordinate design development with engineering staff to research solutions.
• Deliver 3D models and 2D drawings to meet project schedules and QA procedures.
• Research and analyze design solutions and specify components and materials.
