SpaceX is seeking a CNC Programmer, NX CAM (STARLINK), to join our advanced manufacturing team. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of CNC machining, NX CAD/CAM/CAE, and close collaboration with machinists, leads, and engineering to boost productivity and optimize programs and procedures.

The ideal candidate will handle tool/die applications, complex surfacing and graphite electrode programming, with experience on multi‑axis mill and lathe CNC machines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in NX.
• Experience with graphite electrode programming.
• Experience with multi-axis mill and lathe CNC machines.
• Experience with tool and die application with complex surfacing and contours.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC parts using NX CAD/CAM/CAE.
• Vericut NC files and maintain revision control.
• Adjust speed and feed for tool life.
• Suggest drawing changes to improve manufacturability.
• Machine fixture tooling per process sheets.
• Set up and operate machines.
• Meet productivity and production goals.
• Keep products moving and alert management.
• Provide ideas for process improvements.
