Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a CNC Specialist (NX CAM) to own programming and process decisions for blades and vanes in Bastrop, Texas. You will work with vendors, machinists, programmers, engineering, and operations with autonomy, accountability for equipment, consumables, processes, and output.

Responsibilities include programming blades/vanes with 5-axis milling, verifying NC files, selecting tooling, driving DFM, and designing fixtures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC programming in NX.
• Experience with blades/vanes and high-temperature superalloys.
• Ability to verify NC files and manage revisions.
• Willingness to travel to vendors and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Program blades/vanes using NX CAD/CAM for 5-axis milling and related processes.
• Own process knowledge: tooling, parameters, and quality outcomes.
• Verify NC files and manage setup sheets and docs.
• Design fixtures and rigging for the line.
• Support equipment selection, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot issues and train operators.
• Drive process development to stable production.
• Push for process improvements.
