Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking an NX Cad Admin / Triage support to establish and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment for engineering teams in California. You will ensure reliable, standardized tools to accelerate design and iteration across defense programs.
The role involves providing specialized CAD software support (NX, SolidWorks), triaging IT tickets, onboarding new hires, and creating self-service documentation while leading continuous improvement projects within security and quality
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 2–4 years in IT helpdesk/technical support roles.
- 1–2 years in CAD environments (NX, SolidWorks) in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment across the org.
- Provide specialized CAD software support to design teams (NX, SolidWorks).
- Manage IT helpdesk queue; triage and assign tickets accurately.
- Resolve Tier 1–2 CAD/PLM issues with SLA adherence.
- Onboard new hires with CAD-capable workstations and access.
- Create and maintain self-service IT docs and knowledge base.
- Provide technical leadership and training for NX users; escalation point.
- Coordinate improvements with engineering, IT, and external providers.
- Lead CAD/PLM improvement projects with measurable benefits.
