Capgemini Engineering is seeking an NX Customization Developer to join our remote North America team. The role focuses on automating CAD tasks, creating user-friendly interfaces, and enhancing NX through NX Open and UI APIs.

• 3–7+ years of experience in CAD customization, with at least 2–3 years in NX Open development.
• Deep knowledge of NX Open API (Common API, Wrapped/Unwrapped UFUNC).
• Proficiency in C# (.NET), VB, or C/C++.
• Experience with NX Open, Journaling, UFUNC, and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with HTML/XML data processing and scripting.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC processes.

About The Role You're Considering

The NX Customization Developer works closely with engineering, PLM, and CAD teams to deliver tailored solutions that extend NX's out of the box capabilities. The role involves automating repetitive CAD tasks, creating user friendly interfaces, integrating NX with PLM systems, and ensuring high quality, maintainable code.

Your Role

Your Skills And Experience

Domain

• Strong understanding of 3D/2D parametric CAD and expression handling
• Experience in surface modelling and CAD/CAE customization
• Exposure to PLM integration (Teamcenter)

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911 - $161,544/Year

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
