Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain parametric 3D parts, assemblies, layouts, and drawings in Siemens NX.
• Develop CAD content for programs including packaging studies, mounting features, brackets, covers, seals, PCBA interfaces, and test hardware.
• Perform basic mechanical design checks: fit, clearance, interference, and stack‑ups.
• Prepare and run simple structural FEA analyses with defined assumptions and documented inputs.
• Apply mechanical fundamentals and GD&T to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.
• Support prototype builds with machined, formed, molded, and additive parts; review build quality.
• Design, procure or fabricate test fixtures, brackets, adapters, and instrumentation mounts.
• Spend regular hands‑on time in GM prototyping facilities and labs for assembly and testing.
