Job summary

Hendrickson in Woodridge, IL is seeking a CAD Designer to join our Engineering team onsite. You will create CAD drawings, develop suspension components, and collaborate through product development with a focus on GD&T and dimensional standards.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical CAD, proficiency in parametric modeling, and experience with Unigraphics NX and TeamCenter. Local candidates only; on-site position with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical CAD design experience with 3D CAD tools.
• Proficiency in parametric modeling and assembly creation.
• Experience with ASME Y14.5M dimensioning standards is required.
• Experience with NX (Unigraphics) and TeamCenter is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering during product development and design iterations.
• Develop suspension components through full design process.
• Create and revise CAD drawings per ASME Y14.5M standards.
• Produce tolerance stack studies and assess tolerances for manufacturing.
• Support CAD data exchange and customer presentations.
• Train and mentor new CAD personnel and support drawing release processes.
• Design and layout test equipment for lab tests.
