Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks an NX Cad Admin / Triage support to establish, maintain, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment across engineering and manufacturing teams. You will ensure designers have reliable, standardized tools to rapidly innovate and deliver defense solutions.

You will onboard new hires, create self-service documentation, mentor users, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with IT, engineering, and external providers to maintain secure CAD

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in an IT helpdesk/technical support role.
• 1–2 years of CAD experience with NX or SolidWorks in a professional setting.
• Ability to interpret NX logs/sy s logs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment.
• Provide specialized CAD software support (NX, SolidWorks).
• Manage IT helpdesk queue (Jira Service Desk) and triage tickets.
• Resolve Tier 1–2 CAD/PLM issues.
• Meet SLAs for ticket response and resolution.
• Onboard new hires with CAD-capable workstations and accounts.
• Create and maintain self-service IT knowledge base articles.
• Provide technical leadership and training; mentor users.
• Coordinate improvements with engineering, manufacturing, IT, QA and service providers.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement projects for CAD/PLM.
• Ensure CAD configurations comply with security, quality, and regulatory standards.
