Job summary

Protingent is seeking an NVMe Test Engineer for a contract in San Jose, CA. You will work in the NVMe Customer Qualification team, executing and debugging OEM drive qualification tests on NVMe SSDs.

The role requires Linux, Python scripting, and experience with enterprise storage systems; familiarity with protocol analyzers such as LeCroy/SerialTek/Xgig is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in NVMe and PCIe front-end storage protocols.
• Experience in Linux OS environment.
• Experience programming/scripting background in Python.
• Experience with SSD or HDD testing is a must.
• Must have experience with enterprise storage systems setup, testing and debugging.
• Familiar with protocol analyzers like LeCroy, SerialTek, or Xgig.

Responsibilities

• Test NVMe drives in the customer qualification test team and debug failures.
• Understand test scripts and coordinate with development to resolve issues.
