Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Test Engineer for the NVMe Customer Qualification test team within the Enterprise Product Division in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on NVMe SSD qualification testing, execution, and debugging alongside the development team.

You will analyze test scripts, reproduce failures, and contribute to the debugging process to ensure robust enterprise storage solutions. prior experience with protocol analyzers and performance analysis is highly valued.

Qualifications

Experience with NVMe/PCIe front-end storage protocol.
Experience in Linux OS environment.
Experience with SSD or HDD testing.
Must have experience with enterprise storage systems setup, testing, and debugging.
Familiar with protocol analyzers such as LeCroy, SerialTek, or Xgig.
Experience with system or device-level performance analysis.

Job description

Test engineer in the NVMe Customer Qualification test team in Samsung's enterprise product division.

Will work on NVMe Solid State Drives on execution and debug of OEM drive qualification tests.

Understand test scripts and debug failures that arise during test execution with the development team.

Requirements

Experience in NVMe/PCIe front-end storage protocol.
Experience in Linux OS environment.
Experience programming/scripting background (Shell or Python)
Experience with SSD or HDD testing is a must.
Must have experience with enterprise storage systems setup, testing, and debugging.
Familiar with one of the protocol analyzers like LeCroy, SerialTek, or Xgig.
Experience with system or device-level performance analysis.
