Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must hold a current Nevada DMV 1G Emission Inspector License.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide smog check services to customer vehicles.
• Perform emissions tests on vehicles.
• Ensure inspections are completed according to Nevada emissions requirements.
• Accurately enter customer, vehicle, and inspection information into the computer.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Explain the service provided and answer questions.
• May assist on the lube side during downtime on the smog side.
• Maintain a clean work area and safe work habits.
