Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Henderson, NV, is hiring a 2G Emissions Inspector and Technician to join our team. The role emphasizes vehicle inspection and repair in a collaborative, fair shop with guaranteed pay and potential bonuses.

Responsibilities include 190-point inspections, brake and tire work, HVAC and suspension tasks, and light engine service while delivering strong customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be state-certified where applicable.
• Must have 2G Smog Certificate.
• At least 6 months of automotive mechanic experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn.
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Light Line work to include – Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
• Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls
