Aliceville Manor Nursing Home is seeking a Dietary Cook to join its kitchen team on site in Aliceville, Alabama. You will prepare nutritious meals following recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring safety and quality for our residents.

We offer both part-time and full-time shifts, with training provided and opportunities to participate in nutrition education activities. Background checks and drug screening may be required as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or dietary experience preferred; training provided.
• Able to follow established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Comfort with working in a team to prepare meals for residents.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of nutritious meals, snacks, and beverages following recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Cooking and serving meals while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Plan menus with the dietary manager to meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation.
• Monitor inventory and place orders as needed for meal prep.
• Support special events and activities with meals for residents.
• Participate in education programs on nutrition.
