Job description

InGenesis is currently seeking Nutritionists/Dieticians to work with our client in New York, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Division of Nutrition, Child and Adult Care Food Program office.

Job Duties

1. Conduct program monitoring to ensure compliance with Federal regulations in the Metropolitan NY region.
2. Provide nutrition program guidance and technical assistance.
3. Conduct training related to menu planning, food service operations, and maintaining required records consistent with the Child and Adult Care Food Program regulations.
4. Candidate will be required to travel between areas 1-2 times weekly. Travel costs are reimbursable.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Candidates must be Registered Dietitians with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
2. Experience working for a federally funded child nutrition program, such as the Child and Adult Care Food Program, preferred.
3. Experience analyzing results of on-site reviews and preparing reports on nutrition-related tasks to support contracted operations, preferred.
4. Experience using Microsoft Office programs and online payment processing systems like the Child and Adult Care Food Program Information and Payment System, and management systems such as Docstar eFile Management Software, preferred.
5. Pay rate range is commensurate with experience.
