Job summary

The candidate should have a high school diploma, a valid food handler card, and prior supervisory experience in a high-volume healthcare food service environment. EPIC and VST software experience preferred; full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Food Handler card per county health department.
• Background checks (state and federal where applicable).
• 2 years of high-volume food service with 1 year in supervision.
• County PIC training may be required by department.
• Manager Food Safety Certification (CFM) preferred.
• Two years of healthcare food service supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service staff, manage schedules, and discipline as needed.
• Ensure temperature logs and taste controls for safety and quality.
• Review menus with Dietitians and ensure standardized recipes are followed.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and sanitation inspections.
• Oversee patient meal delivery within 45 minutes of request; monitor tray accuracy.
• Collaborate with management on product changes, cost savings, and contracts.
• Coordinate with managers for training of new staff and orientation.
