Job summary
New Castle Health & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to oversee daily food service operations for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will manage staffing, meal preparation, ordering, delivery, and safety to meet regulatory standards and care plans.
The role requires a High School Diploma and food safety certification, with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits. Shifts are 8:00a–4:30p, full-time, hourly pay $34.00–$36.00.
Qualifications
- Must possess a High School Diploma and a Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification per state requirements.
- Certification for food service management or higher degree in related field preferred.
- Experience supervising food service staff within a healthcare setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage operation of the food service department including staffing, ordering, meal prep and delivery.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation and compliance with care plans and regulations.
- Supervise food service staff to maintain quality dining experiences for residents.
