Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years in kitchen, food service/production or food retail.
• Prior supervisory experience or ability to lead and motivate.
• Knowledge of kitchen and cafeteria equipment and systems.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Culinary Services or related field with 2+ years in kitchen/food service.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates daily work of Nutritional Services staff and promotes teamwork.
• Conducts pre-meal meetings, starts/ends meal service on time and monitors standards.
• Verifies diets for new IRU patients and residents.
• Generates reports related to production, snacks, meal tickets, and allergies.
• Complies with HACCP/NSF/DOH guidelines and aids regulatory inspections.
• Maintains kitchen, pantries, dining areas in a clean, sanitary condition.
• Assists in inventories, orders and proper food storage and dating.
• Completes and approves staff schedules; handles PTO and callouts.
• Orients new hires and maintains training records and competency checklists.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
