Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our patient nutrition team. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, manage staffing levels, monitor quality, and assist with budgeting and purchasing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervisory experience in food service operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree.
• Completion of Sanitation Certification Course or ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent computer and customer service skills, effective communication, and ability to work well with others in service situations.
• Customer-Service call center experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational functions in the department to ensure effective daily operations.
• Supervise staff, staffing levels, quality control, and budget goals; assist with purchasing and expenses.
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; address complaints and ensure infection control and safety standards.
