Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration in Florida is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to prepare and portion meals for patients and staff. You will stock and sanitize pantries, manage inventory, and assist with tray delivery following strict safety protocols.

The role requires legible handwriting and English proficiency, with bi-lingual skills a plus. The position offers night-weekend shifts, opportunities for career development, and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English required.
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills preferred.
• Experience with a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items and beverages according to recipes and production requirements.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments; maintain inventory and billing records.
• Serve meals on tray lines; record food temperatures and deliver trays to patients with proper ID protocols.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, floors, and equipment using required cleaning procedures.
• Operate dishroom and cafe registers; process transactions accurately; monitor sanitation and temperature logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.
